Christos Haritoglou

Dr. Christos Haritoglou is associate professor and assistant medical director at the Eye Clinic of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. He specializes in the pathology of the front and the rear part of the eye, such as cataract, age-related macular degeneration or eye complications caused by diabetes mellitus. As an eye surgeon he specializes in glaucoma, cataract and diseases of the retina. His main research interests, which have earned him a number of awards, include the advancement of microsurgical techniques in regard to the eye and of the drug therapy of diabetic retinopathy.
