Dietmar Hager
Dietmar Hager (born 1969) read medicine in Vienna and underwent specialist training as a surgeon in Linz. After internships at clinics in Austria, Italy, Germany, Great Britain and the US Hager decided to specialize as a hand surgeon and micro surgeon. For more than 20 years he has also worked as an astro-photographer and has been giving presentations and workshops in Austria, Germany, Denmark and the US. As a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society Hager publishes his photos in German-language and international specialist journals, text books and filmed tutorials, including NASA publications. Hager has received several awards for his work.
