Gabu Heindl
Gabu Heindl is an architect and urbanist. Having read architecture at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna and at Princeton University on a Fulbright Scholarship, Heindl now has an architectural practice in Vienna (Studio Gabu Wang) and a teaching post at the Institut für Kunst und Architektur of the Akademie der Bildenden Künste. Her work as an architect includes Österreichisches Filmmuseum in the Albertina and the brut in Künstlerhaus. Gabu Heindl is also active as an exhibition designer; her most recent work includes exhibitions in New York, at Steirischer Herbst in Graz and for the Salzburger Kunstverein. She contributes regularly to specialist journalists and is the editor of the 2008 “Arbeit Zeit Raum. Bilder und Bauten der Arbeit im Postfordismus”.
