Dr. Franz A. Fellner read medicine in Regensburg and Munich. Having specialised as a radiologist he was appointed Professor at the University of Erlangen in 2001. Between 2002 and 2005 Fellner was senior physician at the Institute for Radiology of Upper Austria’s Clinic of Nervous Diseases in Linz and has been head of the Central Radiological Institute at AKH Linz since 2005. In 2007 he was made supernumerary professor of radiology at Erlangen University. He is also a member of the research and development advisory board of Upper Austria’s Fachhochschulen and of several radiological specialist organisations.
