Open Space?
The Prefix of a Century – The astonishing peculiarities of modern science
In the 20th century science discovered the prefix Un- for itself, as in Unstetigkeit [unsteadiness], Unbestimmtheit [indeterminacy], Unent¬scheid¬barkeit [undecidability], Unvorhersagbarkeit [unpredictability], Unsicherheit [uncertainty]. Many of these terms have become catchphrases. Has this made science better or less good?
