Open Space?Kepler Salon Extra: On Trump Time
What has changed in the United States since “T-Day” on November 8, 2016 and Trump’s taking office in January 2017? Which of the promises he made in his inaugural address has he been able to keep? How robust is American democracy? What is the direction of American foreign policy under the Trump administration? Marcus Gräser, Head of the Institute for Modern and Contemporary History at Johannes Kepler University, and Norman Thatcher Scharpf, Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Vienna, will return one year after the inauguration to share their analyses of Trump’s presidency to date and consider prospects for the rest of his term.
The discussion will be in English.
