Robert Bauer

Robert Bauer teaches “Organisation and Innovation” at the Johannes Kepler Universität, Linz. He is currently involved in research on the management of innovation processes (i.e. the development and realization of promising new products, processes or business models) and on the potentials and risks inherent in an intensive relationship between management and art and/or design.

Professor Bauer was a visiting professor for several years at the prestigious Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto) and has been active as a lecturer and advisor in Europe and North America. His preliminary study of the cultural potential of the Austria Tabak Werke premises that was commissioned by the City of Linz in 2009 will form the basis for the future development of  this precinct.
