Markus Zeindlinger

Markus Zeindlinger (born in 1973) has been developing and producing his own theatre projects and performances since 1990. He graduated with a diploma in acting from Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität Linz in 1997. Zeindlinger is one of the directors of theaternyx, Linz’s fringe theatre. Over the last years he was involved above all in place specific productions and in theatrical treatments of political phenomena (e.g. the series “ground zero. Amerika in losen Folgen” (2007) that focused on US foreign policies under George W. Bush as presented by the media). In 2008 and 2009 Zeindlinger was artistic coordinator of the great Linz09 schools project “I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT”.
