Georg Huemer

Georg Huemer studied medicine in Innsbruck and was a research fellow in Phoenix, Arizona. From 2001 he underwent specialist training as a plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgeon in Innsbruck and Linz. Since early 2008 Huemer has worked at the AKH Linz as a plastic surgeon and in January 2009 he habilitated as Austria’s youngest plastic surgeon. He is the scientific director of the Mikrochirurgisches Ausbildungs- und Forschungszentrum Linz. Since 2007 Huemer has been enrolled in MSc and MBA courses at the Donau-Universität Krems.
