Harald Lemke
The philosopher and curator Harald Lemke lives in Hamburg and is a lecturer at the Institut für Kulturtheorie, Kulturforschung und Künste at the Leuphana University Lüneburg. Since 2007 he has also been a visiting professor at the Department of Philosophy of East China Normal University Shanghai. He is a Fellow of the Humboldt-Stiftung, the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science and the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt. Having read Philosophy and History in Hamburg, Konstanz and Berkeley, Lemke graduated in 1999 and habilitated in Philosophy and Cultural Studies in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Jan van Eyck Academy for Fine Arts, Design and Theory in Maastricht, The Netherlands.
