Heidemarie Uhl
Heidemarie Uhl (born 1956) is a lecturer in Contemporary History at Vienna University and involved in the research programmes “Orte des Gedächtnisses” of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Kommission für Kulturwissenschaften; http://www.oeaw.ac.at/kkt) and “Transformationen gesellschaftlicher Erinnerung. Interdisziplinäre Forschungen zur österreichischen Gedächtnisgeschichte in der Zweiten Republik”, a project of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. She is the author of numerous publications concerning the history of remembrance in Austria’s Second Republic.
