Helmut Hirtenlehner

Helmut Hirtenlehner read sociology in Linz, where he also habilitated in criminal sociology and criminology. He is at present Professor of Criminology and Empirical Social Research at the course of studies Soziale Arbeit at the FH OÖ and research assistant at the Centre for Psychology & Law and for Criminology of Linz University. His research focus is on crime-related anxiety, Law in Action, recidivism research and quantitative criminology.
