Andreas Gruenschloss
Andreas Grünschloß (b. 1957) read Protestant theology, psychology and comparative religion in Tübingen, Chicago and Heidelberg. A spell as research assistant and university lecturer at Mainz University was followed by graduation (1992), habilitation (1999) and extraoccupational training for the ministry. In 2002 he was made professor of religious studies at Göttingen University. The focus of his research and publications is on new religious movements, systemic questions of comparative religion and include early Buddhism and Aztec religions.
