The city’s climate yesterday, today and tomorrow. Pollution and climate protection
Climate change is the great challenge of our time. For many years, industrial pollution posed a danger to the population of Linz. In the meantime the quality of the air in Linz has improved significantly. Yet in the meantime new problems have arisen: global warming and the depletion of fossil fuel resources – oil, natural gas, coal – make it imperative for us to change our lifestyle. What can each of us do to improve the situation both for ourselves and for people in other parts of the world?
