Christa Schrauf

Christa Schrauf (born 1959) read Protestant Theology in Vienna and Zurich and subsequently served as a pastor in Burgenland and Styria for many years. Since 2008 she has been rector of Evangelisches Diakoniewerk Gallneukirchen. Before that she held several other posts in the Church: between 1996 and 2008 she was a member of the Austrian Leitungsausschuss der evangelischen Frauenarbeit, between 1998 and 2000 and again since 2008 member of the Synod of Protestant Churches in Austria; between 2005 and 2008 she was a member of the Ecumenical Forum of Christian Churches in Styria; between 2006 and 2008 she was Deputy Superintendent of the Diocese Styria and a member and (repeatedly) chairperson of the Graz Committee for Christian-Jewish Collaboration.
